Jupiter Life Line Lands ₹354 Cr BKC Deal for Mega Hospital

Jupiter Life Line Hospitals has secured a prime land parcel in Mumbai’s business district after winning a bid conducted by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) for ₹354 crore. The plot, located in the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), spans approximately 10,026 square metres and has been allotted on an 80-year lease.

The company plans to develop a 400-bed multi-specialty hospital on the site, subject to necessary regulatory approvals. The project is expected to significantly enhance healthcare infrastructure in one of Mumbai’s busiest commercial hubs.

This acquisition marks a key step in Jupiter’s ongoing expansion across western India. The hospital network currently operates four facilities, including one in Indore, and has three more under development, including the proposed BKC project.

Commenting on the development, Joint Managing Director and CEO Ankit Thakker stated that the move aligns with the group’s strategy to expand capacity and strengthen its presence in high-demand urban markets.
